Widely known as ‘One Dart’, Mr Manley is a former professional darts player and current chairman of the Professional Dart Players Association. He will take on visitors in a series of three-dart challenges on both days of the exhibition, October 17-18, at Old Trafford stadium.
Mr Booth has one of sport’s most recognisable voices, announcing everything from heavyweight boxing world title fights to snooker. He has acted as MC to almost every professional darts player on the circuit.
Dan Wild, Conex Bänninger business unit director for UK and Ireland, said: “PHEX Manchester provides us with a fantastic opportunity to meet installers face-to-face and talk to them not only about the benefits of >B< Press but also any other plumbing joint related queries they might have.
“We do recognise many will have taken valuable time off to be there, which is why we’ve introduced the fun darts challenge. I hope lots of people will come along to our Conex Bänninger stand, stand 25, and try their luck against our darts champion Peter and announce themselves to MC Paul.”
The Conex Bänninger >B< Press range is flame-free, resulting in reduced fire risks and labour costs. The versatile press fitting system can be used with hard, half-hard and soft copper tube, providing a secure, long-life, leak-proof joint. Once pressure is applied to >B< Press fittings with a compatible press tool, a joint is permanently made and cannot be dismounted. The system removes the need for solder, adhesives or additional jointing materials
The range has the advantage of a >B< Profile three-point press, with two mechanical presses either side of the bead and one hydraulic press crimping the O-ring.
