Circoflo's largest UK distributor opens new warehouse

A warehouse in Warrington, constructed to its own exacting specifications during the past year, has consolidated E Tupling’s position as the country’s largest stockist of Circoflo products as well as underlining the family-run enterprise’s commitment to being the leading distributor of underfloor heating systems to independent merchants across the UK.

Established by Ernest Tupling at Irlam in Lancashire back in 1966, E Tupling has grown to become a key supply chain partner for merchants who need greater flexibility than most manufacturers of plastic plumbing and underfloor heating systems can provide. In addition to creating the new 25,000ft2 warehouse employing 26 people, E Tupling has invested heavily in its e-commerce offering, including the availability of a specially tailored click and collect service for the different brands it stocks.

Managing director, Tim Whitehead, commented: “E Tupling have been on an incredible journey over the past 12 months, we have grown considerably and are constantly striving for continual business improvement in order to serve our valued merchant partners in the best ways possible. We have made several operational enhancements enabling us to improve the ways in which we represent the Circoflo brand, whilst optimising exposure and awareness of the product ranges and brand identity. Circoflo is one of our most valued suppliers and we are proud to distribute its products.”

The group sales director for Circoflo, Brendan Hourican, added: “As a specialist distributor of underfloor heating systems supplying customers from the Scottish Borders down to the Midlands, E Tupling has become our biggest distributor. Crucially, it is a family-run business which takes pride in owning an enquiry, to ensure it is fulfilled to the customer’s satisfaction. “

“I’ve known of E Tupling throughout my career, so had no hesitation in approaching them when I took up my role with Circoflo. They make the perfect supply partner: having their own fleet of vehicles as well as a sophisticated ‘click and collect’ service and in addition to the stocks of our products carried in the new warehouse, Tupling will also make up house-specific packs for customers.

“As part of the Exeter-based Ridgespear Group, Circoflo supplies six systems – including options for in screed, in joist or retrofit – all of which utilise the same 12mm pipe, available in coils of 60, 80 or 100 metres and always designed at 133mm centres to futureproof the system to work efficiently with renewable technology such as air source heat pumps. Circoflo also have a unique versatile mini-manifolds concept which reduces the congestion of pipework in the floor, which traditionally causes hot spots, whilst still giving the installer the flexibility of choice. Circoflo offers a comprehensive technical advisory service including project specific advice.
