CIBSE ASHRAE Young Engineers' Awards 2013 call for entries

CIBSE (The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) is inviting entries for the CIBSE ASHRAE Young Engineers' Awards 2013.
Entries need to be received by July 31, 2013 and there are categories open to building services engineers who have recently graduated and employers of graduates.

The CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year Award is open to building services engineers who have graduated in the past two years. The winner will attend the ASHRAE Winter Conference 2014 in New York.

Shortlisted candidates get the chance to present their ideas at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), London on October 9, where the judging panel will choose the Young Graduate of the Year and the Employer of the Year will be announced. The prestigious judging panel includes the Presidents of the ASHRAE, CIBSE and the IMechE, together with the 2012 Graduate of the Year, Lee Tabis.

First prize in the CIBSE Employer of the Year Award is £1,000 of training vouchers. The award recognises large, medium and small companies that proactively champion building performance excellence, whether through a commitment to young people in employment, or by supporting those employees through education.

The CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year Award is now in its 18th Year, and the CIBSE Employer of the Year Award was founded by the CIBSE Young Engineers' Network. Both Awards are supported by CIBSE, ASHRAE, the IMechE and the Institute of Refrigeration.
