Chief executive leaves NG Bailey
The Ilkley-based building services provider said its chief financial officer Chris Newton would become the acting chief executive.

Andrews has been CEO at NG Bailey since 2004. No reason was given by the family-owned company for Andrews' departure or what he will do next .

'Mark has made a major contribution to NG Bailey since he joined in 2004 and we wish him every success in his future career' said a company statement.

Newton joined NG Bailey in 2002. He has been chief financial officer and a member of the NG Bailey board since 2004.

Came in with great ideas and plans to move the company on. Five years later, no longer felt like a family business. Mark, you forgot about the people, that made NGB great - the workers, apprentices, tradesmen, engineers, managers etc. the core of the company.

Now all these skills are going to others, let see how all the people you brought in with the big salaries manage now. Change had to happen - but it was Mark's way or no way.
