Carrier Rental Systems expands in Ireland

Carrier Rental Systems (UK) is expanding its operations in Ireland to better serve its customers.

Carrier Rental Systems (UK) is expanding its operations in Ireland to better serve its customers.

The company’s organisation in Ireland now has two bases - at Lisburn to serve customers in the North and a new depot in Dublin to serve customers in the South - providing total coverage across Ireland.

In addition, Carrier Rental Systems has invested in a new fleet of chillers, based on the latest high-efficiency, low-noise Carrier systems, as well as air conditioning plant, heating and packaged boilers.

This new fleet will allow Carrier to better serve its customers from a number of sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical research, food and drink and IT.

Carrier will also continue to support the leisure industry. It recently supplied the chillers for the downhill ice track at the Red Bull Crashed Ice event in Belfast and supplied a temporary heating solution for drying out screed and surface finishes in a multi-sports and leisure venue.

Brian Woods (pictured right), who heads up the company’s Lisburn branch, said: “The Irish economy is picking up after a difficult period, and we see new opportunities to provide temporary cooling and heating solutions to customers across the country. We look forward to serving growing customer requirements across all segments.”

The expansion in Ireland follows recent announcements from Carrier Rental Systems regarding the development of its site at Thorpe, England, and expanded distribution of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment in Scotland.

Director of Carrier Rental Systems, Marc White, said: “With our improved levels of local and national coverage, we are ready to meet growing customer demand for rental solutions . Carrier Rental Systems provides competitive long-term hire for periods of up to five years, which can help companies achieve a number of milestones without a big upfront investment in new equipment.”
