Carrier daredevil completes Shard abseil

Paul Lawrence, sales and business development director at Carrier, joined HRH The Duke of York and Ffion Hague earlier this month in a dramatic abseil down The Shard, London's newest landmark building, to raise money for the Commando Spirit Appeal on behalf of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF).

After completing the breathtaking descent Mr Lawrence said: 'This was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life and the perfect platform to launch my participation in the Commando Spirit Appeal, for which I hope to raise £25,000 for the RMCTF by 2014. I'd like to say a big thank you to all those who have sponsored me, including Climate Center and Bakehouse UK.'
