Domus PV Low Profile 225 is used across LNT care homes. An ultra low profile system (234 x 29mm), the PV Low Profile 225 design enables concealment when installed along the top of wall units or when fitted in ceiling voids, cavity walls and other confined spaces. Domus duct systems are specifically designed to optimise air flow energy-efficiency, with minimal air leakage and moisture leakage from condensate eliminated.
The Domus ducting is being used with Silavent Curzon fans from Polypipe. A quiet centrifugal fan, complying with Building regulations (F1), they are nonetheless very powerful and are designed to perform well when working with longer duct runs, making them ideally suited to use in larger properties such as care homes. Curzon fans come with a large range of options including pull-cord, timer and humidity control.
Domus ducting and Silavent Curzon fans have most recently been installed in Ideal Care Homes in Bolton on Dearn, Sutton In Ashfield, Wigan and West Bromwich, with two more due for completion shortly in Stockport and Bulwell.
