In aid of SACRED (South African Children's Resource for Educational Development), staff from Worcester Bosch, Wolseley, Grundfos and Keston boilers set off to climb the mountain on March 8.

After five days, the group reached their destination in the early hours of March 12.

The figure raised currently stands at £33,300.

The expedition and all associated costs were personally funded so that all money raised from the trek goes directly to the charity.
