Following on from the success of the 2014 event which enjoyed a 14% visitor increase; the Building Controls Show returns to the Surrey Hall at Sandown Park this October.

Following on from the success of the 2014 event which enjoyed a 14% visitor increase; the Building Controls Show returns to the Surrey Hall at Sandown Park this October.

The Show is the only exhibition in the UK which is dedicated to the building controls industry, providing a focussed event which showcases new product development and technical innovation. It is also renowned for its high quality seminar programme, which boasts a number of CPD accredited sessions, giving visitors the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and career enhancing skills, while gaining access to what is new and available now on the show floor.

Confirmed exhibitors for 2015 include the BCIA, Contemporary Controls, Priva, Distech Controls, Wago, Vaisala, Carlo Gavazzi and Innotech Controls, with several more to be announced in the coming weeks.

A spokesperson for the BCIA said: 'The BCIA is very pleased to continue to have a presence at the Building Controls Show. This is the only exhibition that focuses entirely on building controls and BEMS, so it is an event that the Association is happy to be part of. Our members have told us that the Show is useful to them because it allows them to showcase their latest technologies to an expert audience.'

The BCIA will also be holding one of its Members' Meetings at the Sandown venue, so that they can combine a visit to the Show with finding out about the latest work of the Association.

Visitors to this year’s Building Controls Show will be offered an ‘appointment facility’ - a dedicated member of the event team will be appointed to organise key meetings, with the intention of personalising the show experience.

VIP guided tours of the Show will also be provided on request, allowing important introductions to be made. A brand new Demonstration Zone is also planned for 2015, enabling visitors to see new technology in action and meet the team behind it.

Catering and drinks will be made available to all visitors at no cost to them, while a FREE exhibitor and visitor drinks reception will also take place at the close of business on Day One (Wednesday 21 October).

Many of the seminars at the 2014 event were CPD accredited, which ensured the excellent Show attendance (14% up on 2013). Organiser Datateam Business Media is aiming to increase the number of these sessions in 2015 to add further value to the show experience. A range of papers are currently being considered for the seminar programme. Companies wishing to take part should email their proposed talk topic and a short biography to deales@datateam.co.ukto be in with a chance of securing a place.

At last year’s show heating experts accounted for 31% of visitors.
