BSRIA wins BREEAM award

BSRIA has won a 'BREEAM Country First Award' as part of this year's BREEAM Awards.
BSRIA wins BREEAM award
The award was presented in recognition of BSRIA's role in the first BREEAM certification in Malta.

Certification was carried out by Irena Saniuk, one of BSRIA's team of accredited assessors, on the Sky Parks Business Centre at Malta International Airport. BSRIA was appointed by Scicluna & Associates who was responsible for the design of the MEP services.

BRE presented the award in recognition of the pioneering assessors who have been the first in a particular country to have assessed a BREEAM certified building.

Receiving the award, Irena Saniuk said: 'This is a good day for Malta, showing a commitment to improve the sustainable performance of their buildings. I hope the recognition of this award will help to inspire more assessments in Malta and other countries.'
