BSRIA’s technical director, Lynne Ceeney, has qualified for full membership of the IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) and is now a Chartered Environmentalist (SocEnv).

IEMA is the worldwide alliance of environment and sustainability professionals, transforming the world to sustainability. Full membership of IEMA is the ‘gold standard’ for environment and sustainability professionals who are setting agendas and leading initiatives within the organisations for which they work.

Lynne said: “I am delighted to have qualified for my full membership of IEMA and to have been successful in my application for acceptance onto the Register of Chartered Environmentalists (SocEnv)”.

She continued: “Membership enables me to network among some of the leading sustainability professionals in the world who work across industry, government, education and the public sector. It also allows me to keep abreast of the wider sustainability agenda and the issues which are coming to the fore, which is particularly useful for informing my strategic and operational input into BSRIA for the benefit of our members and the wider construction sector.”
