BSRIA supports Smart Buildings Show 2019

BSRIA will be speaking, exhibiting and supporting the Smart Buildings Show, taking place on October 9-10 2019 at Olympia, London.

Henry Lawson, senior market intelligence analyst.

BSRIA’s expert speaker is Henry Lawson, BSRIA’s senior analyst – world market intelligence at BSRIA. Mr Lawson will be presenting ‘Wellbeing in buildings – Gimmick or Game Changer?’

Both those delivering smart buildings and those using them are talking more and more about the importance of wellbeing when it comes to getting the most out of the buildings.

Mr Lawson’s presentation will look at how far wellbeing is influencing decisions about smart building systems being installed today, and how the technology can be deployed to measure the advances and to further optimise buildings.

Drawing on BSRIA’s global research, Mr Lawson will look at trends that are shaping the smart buildings market and what we can expect over the next few years. He will also compare the situation with commercial buildings on the one hand and smart homes and specialised buildings on the other.

Mr Lawson is a regular speaker at building services events across Europe and beyond. He produces regular white papers, articles and blogs on subjects of interest to the industry, aiming to provoke discussion and interests in developing and disruptive trends.

Mr Lawson said: “The Smart Buildings Show 2019 is an important expo and an influential event for the smart industry. The Smart Buildings Show 2019 offers a fantastic opportunity for BSRIA to share the latest thinking and industry trends in this rapidly changing environment”

John Hatcher, conference director, said: “Smart Buildings Show 2019 promises to be one of the most comprehensive in the industry. The show is continuing to grow rapidly and we have more exhibitors than ever before. We have also added an additional conference theatre, which will concentrate on the workplace.

“With speakers from organisations such as BSRIA, WeWork, Microsoft, Schneider Electric and IBM, buildings owners, FM’s and specifiers will be able to gather information to make their smart buildings decisions easier.”
