BSRIA discusses Part L changes at London HEVAR

Proposed changes for 2010 to Part L of the Building Regulations is to be the subject of a seminar presented by BSRIA at London HEVAR 2009.

On September 23, David Bleicher, principle research engineer at BSRIA will present 'Understanding Parts L & F of the Building Regulations' at London's Royal Horticultural Halls.

The hour-long seminar starts at 4pm and covers Conservation of Fuel and Power (Part L) as well as approved guidance on ventilation (Part F).

The Building Regulations were enhanced in 2006 to cut energy consumption. The seminar will cover proposed changes for 2010, when a further change is expected.

London HEVAR's seminar theatre 1 also sees David Bleicher present 'Understanding the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive' on September 23 from 1.30pm-2.30pm.

Bleicher will discuss the implementation of the EU directive in England and Wales where Building Regulations have been enhanced and Energy Performance Certificates and air conditioning inspections were introduced.

As well as talks on many hot topics, London HEVAR 2009 will showcase thousands of HVAC products from the building services industry.

London HEVAR takes place on September 23-24 at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London's Greycoat Street.
