Biasi is inviting local schools to get creative by using radiators as 'blank canvasses' for an educational art competition.
Inspired pupils are being encouraged to come up with designs depicting an environmental theme to coincide with the Walsall based company's philosophy of working with homeowners and businesses to become more eco-friendly in their equipment choices.
Richard Braid, marketing director for Biasi, said: 'We believe this is an excellent way for us to engage with our local community by providing an opportunity for schools to get involved in a very different art competition, while also learning more about the importance of saving energy and preserving the environment.'
Each school will be running their own internal competition to select the best two designs and the subsequent winning creations will be painted onto the radiators. All entries will then be judged by a panel of specialists, who will select the best eight which will be exhibited in the Saddlers Shopping Centre in Walsall during the summer of 2011.
• Participating schools will also receive a Biasi information pack on the environment, including energy saving information. The competition will be assessed under three age categories: 8-11 years, 11-16 years and 16-18 years by the judging panel, which will be made up of a representative from Walsall Art Gallery, Biasi and a local artist.
