BESA names new membership services manager

The Building Engineering Services Association (the BESA) has appointed Amanda Ings as membership services manager, following the retirement of Val O'Reilly after 39 years' service.

The Building Engineering Services Association (the BESA) has appointed Amanda Ings as membership services manager, following the retirement of Val O'Reilly after 39 years' service.

Amanda joined the staff of the association in 2006 as membership subscriptions administrator, in which she supervised the transfer of subscriptions management to a new accounting system, automating direct debit collections and upgrading systems reports.

In 2014, she was promoted to the post of schemes manager for BESA subsidiary Building Engineering Services Competence Assessment Ltd (BESCA) to oversee the company's Competent Persons and Energy Assessor schemes.
