Baxi Commercial announces new MD

Baxi Commercial has appointed Andrew Maclagan as its new managing director to further strengthen and grow its operations.

Mr Maclagan will be responsible for leading the growth of Baxi Commercial and driving it forward as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of innovative and efficient space and water heating solutions, including renewable and low to zero carbon technologies, for the commercial market.

He first joined the Baxi business in 1993 and, during his time, was the director of Interpart, Baxi’s industry-leading spare parts business for all of its UK brands. He played a key role in helping to integrate multiple brands and businesses, and in the call centre being ranked number 13 out of the UK’s top 50 call centres.

In addition, he managed the British Gas account, which saw Baxi appointed as one of two boiler partners. He was appointed UK procurement director in 2006 and retains this role.
