Albion creates new role in international business after rapid success

Albion Valves (UK) has welcomed Joshua Parkinson into the international team as part of an apprenticeship scheme.

Joshua Parkinson is Albion's new apprentice

Straight out of school, Josh has joined Albion Valves (International) as an apprentice export administrator. His role will see him assisting the UK-based export co-ordinator, Ryan Moore, and the UAE-based sales team with the sales and administration associated with all international orders.

This comes at a time when the construction sector in the Middle East and North Africa is booming and Albion Valves (International) is quickly becoming established as a supplier for quality valves and fittings throughout the region.

Josh comments: “This is a great opportunity for me to continue my education whilst in a busy work environment. Albion has a reputation within Barnsley as being a great company to work for, and they have had many successful apprentices in the past who have continued in full-time roles with Albion after the training scheme. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead of me.”

Ryan Moore adds: “It is an exciting time for Josh to join Albion. With the recent success of Albion Valves (International) it will provide a very fast-paced environment with a lot of scope to learn. We are working hard to build relationships with our international customers to give them the level of service that Albion is known for in the UK.”
