Airflow to share expertise at the ACR Show 2016

Airflow Developments, the ventilation solutions manufacturer, will be exhibiting at the ACR Show 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham from the 16-18 February 2016 on stand D40.

Airflow Developments, the ventilation solutions manufacturer, will be exhibiting at the ACR Show 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham from the 16-18 February 2016 on stand D40.

The company will be featuring its new Duplexvent ROTARY Thermal Wheel Ventilation system, its latest MVHR innovation, along with the commercial range on its stand.

At the show, the Airflow team will discuss the many benefits of its commercial ventilation range. Consultants, facilities managers and HVAC installers will be able to learn more about how the company’s high performance products can contribute to a better indoor working environment, saving energy and reducing building operation costs at the same time.

The Duplexvent ROTARY Thermal Wheel Ventilation system will also be showcased. The system represents a significant innovation in compact mechanical ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) and uses a rotary thermal wheel to achieve up to 85% heat recovery and air volumes of between 8000 and 16,000m³/hr.

It is available as rooftop or indoor versions and is suitable for commercial or industrial applications. To meet the demands of building size and layout, the units can be customised during installation, supply and extract ports can be rotated by up to 90 degrees.

Airflow marketing manager John Kelly said: “We are delighted to bring the Airflow Duplexvent Commercial range to the ACR Show. Installers are increasingly becoming multi-skilled to provide a broader range of services. In addition, the more diverse audience now attracted to the ACR Show, also provides us with the ideal opportunity to reach specifiers and contractors who are looking for solutions to address wider indoor air environment issues.”

There will also be the opportunity to gain CPD points at the ACR Show with a RIBA and CIBSE approved seminar from Airflow looking at ‘Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery in non residential buildings.’ Explaining the contribution ventilation makes to healthy and comfortable commercial buildings, the CPD explores the debate around energy efficient ventilation technologies in non-residential applications, demonstrating the cost and environmental benefits of MVHR specification.
