The Energy Technology Product List (ETPL), is a government-managed list of energy-efficient plant and machinery. Its purpose is to encourage businesses to choose energy efficient products when making capital purchases so as to help overall environmental goals.
The incentive for the individual business, over and above helping our planet, is that any capital purchases from the list qualify for the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) tax scheme and can therefore be fully offset against any taxable profit for the same year.
For a product to be on the ETL It must meet specific energy saving or energy efficient criteria.
The TurboChill Spray Evaporator incorporates the latest centrifugal TurboCor compressor technology, which offers 30-100 per cent variable speed control for tighter setpoint management and substantial energy savings at part load.
The implementation of spray flooded type evaporator technology means that the TurboChill Spray Evaporator range reduces refrigerant evaporator charge by up to 70 per cent and overall unit charge by up to 50 per cent, whilst maintaining a level of efficiency close to a traditionally flooded system of the same capacity.
