ADEY launches six new training centres

ADEY, the water treatment manufacturer, has launched six high-tech training centres across the UK to provide installers with hands-on experience of the latest equipment and to help them understand the importance of industry best practice.

ADEY, the water treatment manufacturer, has launched six high-tech training centres across the UK to provide installers with hands-on experience of the latest equipment and to help them understand the importance of industry best practice.

Building on the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) accreditation awarded for its Cheltenham-based Training and Conference Centre last year, ADEY has also equipped five colleges with test rig laboratories, equipment and the full portfolio of its water treatment products.

The facilities provide space to host advanced and supervised training on the company’s leading range of magnetic filters and premium MC+ chemicals, showcasing cutting-edge innovation in heating system protection. This includes a range of current branded boilers rigged to fully operational central heating systems to demonstrate the optimum use of ADEY’s products for each, helping to educate installers that work on a range of systems.

Experienced ADEY trainer, Colin Yearp, will work with a team of training managers to deliver training modules to installers, focusing on the six-step ADEY Best Practice approach. Installers and businesses looking to develop their knowledge can book on the hands-on course, designed to cater for a maximum of six people at a time.

“In a rapidly changing industry, the ADEY training centres have been carefully developed to equip installers with the best tools for heating system protection and the latest best practice know-how,” said ADEY’s global technical director, Dr Neil Watson. “We have invested significantly so that heating and plumbing businesses across the country can access our comprehensive training.

“ADEY is a leader in driving innovation, recognised by our second Queen’s Award for Enterprise this year, and we are passionate about ensuring that these standards are passed on to, and championed by, installers. The training centres will help them get the most out of their day-to-day application of ADEY’s Best Practice approach to deliver the best possible results for their customers.”
