ACR Show expands to include commercial heating and ventilation

The ACR Show returns to the NEC, Birmingham, from 16-18 February 2016.

The ACR Show returns to the NEC, Birmingham, from 16-18 February 2016.

2016 sees the show expanding to include ventilation, heating and heat pump companies, a natural integration, with all five industry sectors already working closely together in today’s market.

The ACR Show in 2016 will tackle key issues affecting the ventilation market, while providing guidance and advice on legislative changes expected to take place in the next two years.

This is undoubtedly the show to visit if you want to know more about complying with the Energy Related Products (ErP) Directive for commercial fans that comes into effect later this month to necessitate electrically driven fans becoming even more energy efficient.

While this is a topical issue affecting all ventilation professionals, the show will also showcase new products and services, while providing a ‘ventilation hub’ where visitors can network with peers and make contact with industry experts and professionals.

Heat Pumps is arguably the fastest evolving area within HVACR. Where once heating and cooling were regarded as entirely different sectors, the evolution of the heat pump is quickly drawing the two sectors closer. A crucial element in bringing efficiencies into air conditioning and refrigeration, inclusion of Heat Pumps  - and Heating - at The ACR Show, makes complete sense.

Currently a focal point for the boiler and renewable heating market is the new version of The Energy Related Products Directive (ErP) which is due to come into effect September 2015 placing more pressure on manufacturers in terms of the energy efficiency of their products. To ensure compliance with the new regulations, industry professionals should make use of the information available at The ACR Show 2016.

The show will also be an event to showcase the latest heating products and services and will be an opportunity for industry professionals to meet, share ideas and gather information. Key players in a wide range of heating systems including boilers, renewable heating, CHP, underfloor heating among others are expect to take part.

Besides a fantastic line up of exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, will be an informative and topical seminar programme in each of the three main seminar theatres, with further opportunities for companies to run their own seminar programmes in mini theatres.

Toshiba Carrier is sponsoring the Training & Careers Theatre. General Manager David Dunn said: “Toshiba Carrier is delighted to be sponsoring the Training and Careers Theatre. We believe training is vital to maintain and enhance professional standards across the industry and secure its future.”

The ACR Show is also supported by the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), FETA, the British Refrigeration Association (BFA), Heat Pump Association (HPA) and Refcom Elite, with additional partnerships to be announced in due course.

The most influential commercial event for consultants, specifiers, contractors, engineers, installers and end users, if you’re in the HVACR industry, this is the event for you.
