2009 brings Rok solid work worth 164m
This includes the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, which has given Rok the go ahead to carry out repair and maintenance work on 150 properties in the UK.

Rok has also signed a national framework agreement with the Guinness Trust, one of the largest housing associations in England, to build new homes during the next four years.

Rok's chief executive, Garvis Snook, said: 'To be winning this number of new framework agreements so early on in the year is encouraging. I believe it shows that using our own people to deliver local services on a national scale is a compelling proposition for many customers and stands us in good stead for the months ahead.'

The other new framework agreements include a contract with Leisure Connection for maintenance, alterations and emergency repairs in the leisure centres and arts centres it manages. Rok's other agreements are with housing associations and councils covering the building of new homes for rent, repairing occupied properties and preparing empty homes for new tenants.
