165 more UK jobs go at Wavin

Plastic pipe supplier Wavin is shedding 165 more jobs from its UK workforce.
The move is part of restructuring highlighted in the company's December 2008 trading update and is aimed at making annualised savings of around EUR 15 million.

Wavin's latest round of job cuts follows its announcement last autumn to axe 200jobs

Wavin, headquartered in Zwolle, in the Netherlands, employs approximately 7,000 people around the world and reported revenue of EUR 1.6 billion for 2007.
