Ziehl-Abegg (Künzelsau) has announced that it is expanding its production of motors in China this autumn.
It will also start to produce small frame-size energy-saving motors at the site following an increase in demand in Asia. Previously the company had motors manufactured on order, however production will now be undertaken using its own facilities. 'That way we can ensure that production does not experience any delays and has constantly uniform quality,' explained Peter Fenkl, chairman of the board at Ziehl-Abegg.
This month marks the company's tenth year of manufacturing in the site Shanghai, which employs 320 staff to manufacture and mount axial and centrifugal fans.
