Ziehl-Abegg director joins AMCA board

Jürgen Albig, Ziehl-Abegg director, has been appointed to the executive board of the Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA).

Jürgen Albig has joined the AMCA board

The AMCA is said to be the largest independent, international and not-for-profit association of manufacturers that develops, establishes and monitors standards and certification for air systems and fans. This also ensures uniform and comparable ratings for fans and the relevant testing requirements.

Mr Albig has more than 40 years’ experience in fan development and manufacturing. He is currently director of product management for fans at Ziehl-Abegg. He is also involved in the trade association Gebäude-Klima e.V. – the industry association for the German air handling and ventilation industry and heads the Connectivity Working Group of the European Ventilation Industry Association (EVIA), – the European umbrella organisation for the ventilation industry.
