ZERO wins £40k award

ZERO, the heating solutions company, is celebrating winning a £40,000 innovation award at the recent Shell Springboard Award regional finals.

The company’s soon-to-be-launched ‘Minibems’ heat network control technology was recognised as an exciting innovation that can deliver significant reductions in carbon emissions.

As one of six regional finalists selected from more than 120 applicants, ZERO now has the chance of winning a further £110,000 at the national Shell Springboard Award final in March.

The company will use the £40,000 grant to launch its award-winning complex heat network control to the UK market over the coming months.

Managing director, Finian Parrick, has been leading the Minibems innovation project from the start. He said: “After years of intense product development, ZERO is very proud to have achieved this award. It means a huge amount to us to have our innovative Minibems heating control and monitoring system recognised in this way.”
