In his new position, Michael will play an integral role in supporting the continued expansion of Zehnder’s light commercial offering across London and the South East. He will work closely with consultants, contractors and developers to deliver high-performance indoor climate solutions - focusing on air handling units and heat recovery.

Bringing with him exceptional track records, Michael has held senior positions at some of the most well-known names across the ventilation and acoustic solutions markets. With a solid understanding of tailored commercial applications and supporting customers across the supply chain, Michael is committed to fostering strong relationships with clients to ensure the optimal delivery of climate solutions from design to installation.

Commercial director, Stuart Smith, at Zehnder Group UK, said: “We are excited to have Michael as a great new addition to the Light Commercial team at Zehnder. His industry experience and understanding across the ventilation and acoustic sector will be a vital addition as we expand our Light Commercial offering and continue to support our customers with high-quality ventilation solutions”.

As the new business development manager, Michael will focus on growing Zehnder’s presence in the light commercial market by building relationships, identifying project opportunities and aligning technical expertise with customer needs. Michael’s role will help ensure that projects benefit from compliant, energy-efficient systems that improve indoor air quality while meeting the practical demands of modern commercial buildings.

Commenting on his new role, Michael was keen to join Zehnder because he saw it as a real opportunity to grow, expressing that “the company’s direction and ambition really stood out to me, and I wanted to be somewhere I could develop my skills while contributing to something bigger with one of the best manufacturers of ventilation and heating products.

It is also an opportunity for me to take on a new challenge learning about the new products, solutions and services we can offer our customers. I’m also excited about building something long term, going beyond the parameters of my role and making a tangible difference to the business.”

Michael’s appointment highlights Zehnder’s ongoing investment in developing its market presence and commercial capabilities across the light commercial sector. This includes supporting a range of small-scale commercial buildings such as offices, schools, retail spaces, warehouses, and health facilities, where ventilation and heat recovery systems must balance performance, energy efficiency and ease of installation.
