The search is on for the UK's best young refrigeration and air conditioning engineer in this year's SkillFRIDGE competition, organized by SummitSkills.
Competition entrants will be judged on a series of challenging practical tests in a bid to be named this year's SkillFRIDGE champion.
Those who make it to the grand final will compete at the prestigious Skills Show at the Birmingham NEC in November. In a celebration of skills, more than 60 competitions from different vocations run side-by-side, including SkillPLUMB, SkillPIPE and SkillELECTRIC.
Neil Collishaw, head of skills competitions and awards at SummitSkills, said: 'Taking part in SkillFRIDGE is not only highly motivational for employees but also drives them to achieve higher standards back in the workplace. Past competitors have gone on to become an even greater asset to their employers and a inspirational role model for their peers.'
The deadline to register for the competition is 22 March 2013. For more information call 01908 303972 or visit
