Wolseley UK has rejoined the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) and formally became a member on 1 April.

In addition, Wolseley UK consultant director Keith Jones has been appointed deputy chair of the BMF’s Plumbing and Heating (P&H) Sector.

Mr Jones has more than 30 years’ industry experience and will work alongside P&H sector chairman Ron Walker to facilitate sector debates and proactively support the interests of the plumbing and heating industry.

Managing director of the BMF, John Newcomb, said: 'We are delighted to welcome Wolseley UK back in membership and equally delighted that they will be playing a major role in the BMF’s P&H Sector, with Keith Jones taking on the role of deputy chair. Since its formation a year ago the P&H Sector has established itself as a valuable industry forum within the BMF and with growing support is now set for the next stage of its development.'
