Wolseley UK has brought its lightside plumbing and heating businesses under a new Lightside division and has reorganised its other businesses into two more divisions Heavyside, and Commercial and Industrial.
The building materials distributor's new lightside division is made up of Plumb Center, Parts Center, William Wilson, BCG, Unifix and Bathstore and is managed by one management team led by Keith Jones.
Keith Jones will continue his job as Wolseley’s managing director for Central and Eastern Europe as well as carrying out his new role as managing director for the Lightside division.
The new Heavyside division includes the Build, Drain, Brandon Hire and Encon businesses, with ‘embedded’ branches that Wolseley runs for specific customers and will be led by Steve Ashmore, previously managing director of Plumb Center and Parts Center.
Tony Morris, previously managing director of Climate Center and Pipe Center, will lead the Commercial and Industrial division which includes the Climate Center, Electric Center and Pipe Center businesses.

Wolseley supplies construction products and materials in the UK through more than 1,800 branches, including the Plumb Center, Build Center, Pipe Center, Drain Center, Climate Center, Parts Center, Electric Center, Encon, Brandon Hire and William Wilson chains.
