Waterloo - working hard to support construction and UK economy

The Waterloo team has welcomed a letter by Alok Sharma, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, paying tribute to manufacturing industry for the valuable and vital work being done to keep the UK economy going.

Waterloo said: 'We are proud of the way that the Waterloo team have adapted processes and working procedures to keep themselves safe and ensure that we are properly following government guidelines whilst continuing on a daily basis to support our customers; taking orders, manufacturing and delivering product where customer's sites remain open.

'Version 3 of the Site Operating Procedures were released yesterday by the Construction Leadership Council to give guidance on rules when it is not possible to maintain a 2m distance to allow continued operating under certain conditions.

'Where our customers have had to close sites when they cannot operate within this guidance, we are collaborating with them to plan to manufacture and store finished products to support a faster start up when sites re-open.

'Currently there are no increases in product lead times and our logistics network is delivering its standard next day service.

'We are ready to help with specifications, quotes, orders or general product questions.

'If you have any pending orders, then please finalise the details with us as soon as possible so that production capacity and raw material can be allocated.'
