Warmup introduces the StickyMat system

Warmup says that it prides itself on providing the best products and services possible. When it comes to installation, through customer feedback and testing from its research and development centre, the company is constantly looking at ways to improve its products. This is based on the knowledge that time is money and trade professionals are always on the look-out for a better, more efficient way to install underfloor heating. The StickyMat enables a smaller contractor to install underfloor heating as fast as a larger company. In an internal testing environment, when using StickyMat against a similar product without pressure sensitive adhesive, the installation of StickyMat was 35% faster, Warmup reports.

StickyMat is more than just a standard heating mat; it uses a 1.8mm pre-paced wire with tough fluoropolymer coatings which provide inner and outer insulation for even surface heat distribution. The StickyMat is available in a choice of 150W/m² and 200W/m² heat outputs and 13 different sizes. It is suitable for all projects: new build, retrofits and refurbishments. Once installed there are two options: lay a thin, self-levelling screed over the mat and leave it to dry, or trowel a full bed of flexible tile adhesive directly over the mat and lay the floor tiles.

Although the installation process is simple, Warmup offers a 24/7/365 technical support service to give personal advice during and after installation. StickyMat comes with a lifetime warranty and SafetyNet Installation Guarantee. This means that if the system is accidentally damaged during installation, Warmup will replace it free of charge.
