Heating manufacturer Vokèra has launched training courses at the Gas Assessment & Training Centre (GATC) in Cardiff and at Combined Heating Services Ltd in Norwich.
The company is committed to providing high quality training and by becoming part of these highly regarded facilities it says it has opened up its courses to more installers across the country.
Training coordinator Margaret Jovanovski said: “We are pleased to be invited to run our courses at both training centres. GATC and Combined Heating Services Ltd offer a wide range of training courses and are highly rated by the installers and service organisations that train their staff at the centres. Vokèra is passionate about the training it provides and these additional centres allow us to reach more people, creating a well-informed and skilled industry.”
At both centres, Vokèra has its own area to display a wide range of boilers, cylinders and heat pumps, giving installers a chance to get hands on with the products. Installers can also learn about the latest developments in control technology including the new BeSMART Wi-Fi enabled thermostat.
GATC Ltd is an established training centre using the latest training material and facilities to deliver gas industry related training. It has two dedicated training classrooms, where most of the theory training is delivered, along with a fully equipped training workshop where candidates can put the theory into practice. The facility also includes a fully equipped assessment area that allows the centre to train candidates and independently carry out the relevant assessments.
Launched in 2003, Combined Heating Services Ltd is a purpose-equipped ACS Gas Training and Assessment Centre incorporating training rooms, a comprehensive range of equipment and multi-purpose assessment bays. The centre provides a complete range of ACS courses for domestic and commercial applications, natural gas and LPG as well as OFTEC Oil training and unvented hot water storage systems training for legionella control.
