The Property Care Association (PCA) has elected a leading expert in ventilation to its board.

John Bradley.

John Bradley joins the 10-strong leadership team of the PCA following his appointment at the trade body’s annual general meeting at The Slate, University of Warwick.

Mr Bradley will play a key role in the PCA’s Residential Ventilation Group (RVG), formed in 2016 to bring together best practice and to raise awareness of specialists capable of designing appropriate residential ventilation solutions.

Steve Hodgson, chief executive of the PCA, said: “John’s knowledge and experience gained over the years will be of considerable benefit to our members in this important area.”

Mr Bradley is head of sales at Elta Fans and has 35 years’ experience in ventilation. He said: “I hope to use my experience in the ventilation industry, working for manufacturers and contractors, to represent the best interests of members of the Residential Ventilation Group at PCA Board level.

“I also hope that my technical and regulatory knowledge and my previous board level experience will be of benefit to the PCA generally and help to strengthen its position as the UK’s leading property care-related trade association.”

Cormac Rooney of MJ Rooney was also appointed to the PCA board, where his expertise will support the trade body’s structural waterproofing group.
