Vent-Axia launches heat pump division
Richard Paine has joined Vent-Axia's new heat pump division as product marketing manager. Cliff Arnold has been appointed sales manager of the new division.

'Vent-Axia currently supplies many Lo-Carbon products into the marketplace; its heat pump range will complement products, such as the Sentinel Kinetic, as part of a whole house package of measures designed to reduce the energy consumption for the homeowner' said Richard Paine.

'With the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) in April 2011, renewables will become an increasingly attractive option for homeowners, specifiers and landlords. Heat pumps in combination with low carbon ventilation will make a valuable contribution to reducing the carbon produced by UK homes', said Cliff Arnold.

Carbon reductions for northern arena

Rinnai hot water systems are projected to produce ‘significant’ carbon reductions at a huge indoor arena in the North of England. The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
