IDEAL Boilers has been granted a licence to use the CP961 valve in its boilers by valve company Cottam and Preedy, the patent holders.
Valve licence is ideal result for Ideal Boilers
Cottam and Preedy reached an agreement with Ideal Boilers to grant it a non-exclusive licence to use the valve for the duration of the patent.

The water-saving valve was patented by Cottam and Preedy's subsidiary company Appliance Brassware Ltd and will now be manufactured under the licence by Ideal Boilers for use in its boilers.

Simon Cottam, the managing director of Cottam and Preedy, said 'It is great for the CP961 product that a company with Ideal Boilers reputation and credentials wants to incorporate the CP961 concept in its boiler designs and shows both companies to be forward thinking'.
