Vaillant staff get £1,250 christmas gift

Boiler manufacturer Vaillant has given every one of its workers a Christmas bonus of £1,250 for helping achieve a record-breaking year.
Vaillant Group's factory in Belper, Derbyshire smashed its production record by producing 410,000 boilers this year, resulting in the group opting to reward all 350 staff members.

The firm beat its previous record set last year, when it made 400,000 boilers. The group's Vaillant and Glow-worm brands both increased their market share this year.

On December 18, the firm finished for Christmas and Vaillant's managing director Jim Moore presented the gifts to each worker.
