Vaillant launches e-learning platform

Vaillant has launched a new, interactive online learning platform aimed at installers looking to stay abreast of the latest installation methods and heating technologies.

Vaillant has launched a new, interactive online learning platform aimed at installers looking to stay abreast of the latest installation methods and heating technologies.

The new learning portal is available for free to Vaillant Advance installers. Providing an informative and engaging way for users to refresh their knowledge of domestic and commercial boilers, as well as renewable technologies, in their own time, the e-Learning portal means that installers can learn without compromising time out from day-to-day business operations.

Described by the company as a ‘training centre in the pocket’, the e-Learning platform features videos, simulations, quizzes to test knowledge and understanding, as well as downloadable manuals and literature. It covers core areas vital to installers such as Gas Tec online courses, controls and fault finding, as well as up and coming technologies.

Vaillant commercial director, Mark Derbyshire, said: “We’ve listened to installers who tell us that while they recognise the importance of training, for many, taking time out of their working day is at a cost to their business. This is why a blended approach to training offers a simpler, smarter and innovative way of learning.  With the online e-Learning platform installers can enhance the expert, hands-on training delivered through our Centres of Excellence.”

The e-Learning programme is available free to Vaillant Advance members. To become an Advance member visit www.vaillant.co.uk/e-learning
