Uponor has appointed a former Kingspan boss to the post of vice president of Uponor's UK & Ireland operations.
Peter Roberts joins the plumbing and underfloor heating supplier Uponor Housing Solutions from Kingspan, where he was managing director of its pollution control businesses.
A spokesman for Uponor said 'During the last five years Uponor has experienced continual growth, and 2008 will be no exception, despite adverse market conditions. Peter joins the company at a time of significant UK investment'.
The spokesman added “The experience gained through a market and manufacturing presence throughout Europe and North America allows us to present tried and proven solutions to our underfloor heating, plumbing and housing connection customers.”
The Uponor group employs 4,250 people globally.
In 2007, Uponor's net sales (pro forma*) totalled 1,050 million Euros.
