Mr Webb will take up the role for an initial period of six months, bringing much experience to the role having worked at Countrywide LPG for 18 years. He also has close ties to the association, having held positions as UKLPG chair and vice chair for a total of five years until October 2018.
With the full support of the board and backed by an experienced team, Mr Webb will focus on delivering the output agreed at the UKLPG Annual Conference in May 2018.
Appointed to lead the trade association at an exciting time for the industry, Mr Webb commented: “UKLPG member companies are gearing up for growth in response to the government’s plans to support low carbon energy sources as part of its Clean Growth Strategy. I am delighted to be asked to bring my experience to represent the membership and take the organisation to the next level. Drawing on all available resources to make the industry a success, I look forward to building on the work of the association to deliver an optimum industry environment in the future.”
