TrustMarks signs up for Heating and Renewables Roadshow

The Heating and Renewables Roadshow has announced that TrustMark will be the key supporting organisation for the 2015 event.

TrustMark is the Government-endorsed quality scheme for all trades in and around the home which signposts homeowners to reputable installers. A not-for-profit organisation licensed by the Department for Business Innovation ans Skills, Trustmark works closely with its network of more than 30 approved scheme operators from across the industry and with consumer protection groups such as trading standards, Age UK and the HomeOwners Alliance.

Simon Ayers, chief executive of TrustMark, said: 'TrustMark is proud to be the key supporting organisation of this year’s Heating and Renewables Roadshow. Over the last 12 months we have seen a 68% surge in demand from homeowners looking for reliable and reputable firms in this sector, so we are passionate about signposting them to the best local and expert installers and tradespeople to work on their properties.'

'We will be bringing the Trustmark scheme to the roadshow as a way of encouraging more good firms to get recognition for their technical skills, good trading practices and customer service ethos. We will also be there to support all visitors who need to understand the new consumer rights and business responsibilities being brought in this year.'

Paul Stephen at Heating and Renewables Roadshow: 'TrustMark is synonymous with quality, reliability and is most certainly a trusted source for the industry, so we’re delighted to have them headline the roadshow. The experience, advice, promotion and contacts will be invaluable to both current exhibitors and visitors, providing a gateway to accessing the rapidly expanding growth market of renewables.'

The Heating and Renewables Roadshow will be visiting five locations across the UK throughout September: Coventry, Exeter, Farnborough, Edinburgh and Manchester.
