TrustMark goes on tour with the Heating and Renewables Roadshow

TrustMark, the only Government-endorsed scheme for all trades in and around the home, is touring the country this month with the Heating and Renewables Roadshow to encourage heating, plumbing and renewable energy experts to gain recognition for their technical skills and good trading practices, as well as providing advice on the forthcoming new consumer protection legislation.

TrustMark is the headline sponsor for the show and will also be supporting visitors who need to understand  and be compliant with the new consumer rights and business responsibilities – the new Consumer Rights Act and Alternative Dispute Resolution - which take effect from 1 October 2015.

With more than 7,000 trade professionals expected to attend, TrustMark has already exhibited at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and will be at Exeter’s Westpoint Arena on 15  September; at FIVE, Farnborough, Hampshire on 17 September; at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh, on 22 September and at Event City in Manchester on 24 September.

Trustmark chief executive, Simon Ayers, said: “The Heating and Renewables Roadshow is unique as it is the UK's only regional event for heating and renewable energy professionals.  It will be an invaluable opportunity for us to collaborate and communicate with installers, as well as have access to the expanding growth market of renewables.”

He continued: “We will be bringing the TrustMark scheme to the roadshow as a way of promoting more good firms for their trading practices, customer care and technical competence and will help raise awareness of what heating and renewables firms should be doing to ensure compliance with the new consumer laws and boost customer satisfaction.”

TrustMark is on Stand 63.
