TROX appoints new technical director

TROX has made an additional appointment to its senior leadership team with the appointment of Paul Wenden as technical director for TROX UK.
TROX appoints new technical director
Mr Wenden will lead the engineering and customer technical services activities of TROX UK. He will also fulfil a strategic function, working with companies across the TROX Group to define product development and innovation for customers in the UK and beyond.

Mr Wenden is a chartered engineer with a degree in energy engineering from South Bank University as well as a Diploma in Marketing. He began his career in the HVAC industry as an engineering apprentice in 1977 and spent time in a design role for acoustics before moving to London as a project sales engineer.

Over his thirty-five year career in the HVAC sector, he has had a number of senior management roles including business development director, and more recently, engineering and marketing director for Flakt Woods.

Between 2008 and 2010, he served as president of industry body HEVAC and, in 2010, he was also elected president of FETA. He is a member of CIBSE and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Mr Wenden joins TROX from Twin City Fan Companies, where he was director of product development and engineering, based in the USA.
