Transforming Technologies' speakers announced

Mike Creamer, managing director of Business Edge, will discuss 'Practical field performance analysis of acr systems' and is one of the speakers at London's Transforming Technologies conference on March 3, 2010.

The Transforming Technologies conference, hosted by HVR's sister title ACR News, takes place at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in 1, Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London. The one-day event will see speakers from the air-conditioning industry discuss new innovations for the future.

Mike Creamer describes various air-conditioning applications and how performance analysis has led to the resolution of problems and substantial improvement of system COP and reliability.

The chair of the conference is Graeme Fox, the immediate past chairman of HVCA RAC Group and the director of AREA.

Conference delegates can also meet representatives from acr supplier Cool-Therm and talk about the firm's products and services at its exhibition stand at the venue.

Justin Schofield and Josef Riha from heat exchanger manufacturer H. Gutner (UK) will discuss 'Micro-channel technology' and the level of performance improvements that can be obtained.

Toby Sgrabi, the CEO of PermaFrost Solutions will present 'Enhancement of heat exchanger performance within acr systems via chemically engineered additives' and how they might be easily applied to both new and existing systems.

Nicholas Cox the managing director of Earth Care Products will present 'Developments and opportunities in using hydrocarbon refrigerant blends'.

The early bird cost of delegate places, which includes entrance, lunch and refreshments, is £349+Vat for places booked before January 7, 2010. The normal delegate rate is £399+Vat.
