Tom Wright CBE to address BSRIA Briefing

Tom Wright CBE, group chief executive of Age UK and Age International, has joined the speaker line-up at BSRIA’s flagship event – the annual Briefing and lunch.

Tom Wright CBE, group chief executive of Age UK and Age International, has joined the speaker line-up at BSRIA’s flagship event – the annual Briefing and lunch.

The event will look at the issue of ‘Tomorrow’s Challenges in Today’s Buildings’ and will be held at the Brewery, in London, on Friday 17th November 2017. The main sponsor is Trend.

Tom also chairs the Richmond Group of Charities, which is a coalition of 14 of the leading health and social care organisations in the voluntary sector and is also a non-executive director of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). He is also a trustee of Doteveryone and the Leeds Castle Foundation.

Tom was appointed CBE in 2007.

Julia Evans, chief executive, BSRIA said: “We are delighted that Tom Wright has agreed to be a speaker at this prestigious event. Tom will be able to offer a unique and vibrant viewpoint into how society at large should be supported in housing and the workplace in their later years. A key issue and challenge for both industry and members.”

Other speakers include: Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Tassos Kougionis, principal consultant – residential at BSRIA’s Sustainable Construction Group and the chair is Ant Wilson MBE, director – Sustainability & Advanced Design – Building Engineering at AECOM.
