The Wright skills at JS academy

Birmingham-based building services provider JS Wright has launched a personal skills academy for its apprentices.
Offering workshops on communication skills, leadership and problem-solving, the Aston firm has set aside a training room and outdoor space to help its apprentices develop personal skills.

All the company's 14 apprentices in Birmingham and London have become members of the academy.

A spokesman for JS Wright said the academy will also be open to other staff 'with the right attitude and potential who are looking to develop their careers in the company as a plumber, fitter, site foreman, contracts engineer or design engineer'.

Paul Millington, contracts support manager, said the academy 'will help encourage individual and collective responsibility and uncover the talent that we need to drive our business forward.'
