Martin Jones has been appointed to the newly-created role of technical product manager at Glen Dimplex Boilers.
Charged with providing technical support for commercial and customer care teams at Glen Dimplex Boilers, he also assumes responsibility for supporting customers and installers, as well as managing the company's college training programme for merchants and installers. In addition, he will liaise directly with industry bodies and external development houses on all technical issues.

A former apprentice in Mechanical Engineering and Apprentice of the Year in 2003, Mr Jones brings over nine years experience in the heating industry to his new role.

Before joining Glen Dimplex Boilers, he rose from the position of heating engineer at Premier Energy Solutions to general manager at STL Plumbing and Heating, responsible for the social housing heating contracts.
