World Ventilation Day was created by researchers and professional bodies who are passionate about the importance of ventilation and its vital contribution to creating a healthy and comfortable indoor environment. This year's event is well timed since it comes just after the implementation of Awaab's Law, with social housing landlords keen to find solutions to tackle condensation and mould and protect residents from the harmful effects of damp and mould. Tackling damp and mould through effective ventilation is vital to create healthier, compliant homes and reduce future costs.
This year’s theme is ‘Collaborate to Ventilate’, which was central to Vent-Axia’s development of its new Revive 7 Switchee-Enabled fan, which is a collaboration between Vent-Axia and Switchee, a leading smart technology provider for the social housing sector.
