Swiftclean appoints first HR director

Mark Leadbetter has been appointed to the board of Swiftclean UK as the company's first human resources director.

Leadbetter will be based at the ventilation hygiene and legionella prevention firm's head office in Southend-on-Sea.

Leadbetter said: 'I saw a clear commitment to the company's five year growth plan. Whilst these stretching targets will be challenging, with the people that we have in place and the plans to add to the team I feel that the goals are achievable and I am looking forward to helping develop the staff so that company goals can be realised.'

He will also oversee Swiftclean's large team of field-based engineers. Gary Nicholls, Swiftclean's group managing director said: 'He will also be responsible for ensuring that our internal and external communications are assessed and continually improved'.
