Swegon opens Chinese subsidiary

Swegon, the Swedish manufacturer of ventilation and indoor climate solutions, has launched a subsidiary in China.
Swegon Indoor Climate Systems (Shanghai) Co Ltd is managed by Andreas Engstrom. The office will be able to cover the major domestic markets in China including Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

There are currently two people working in the office but more staff will be recruited this year to market selected products from the Swegon Group product portfolio, including GOLD air handling units.

China's market for indoor climate solutions is significant and the Chinese Government is planning to invest heavily in the construction industry until 2015. Andreas Engstrom said: 'With our highly efficienct systems we are well positioned to meet these requirements.'
